The Magento 2 UPS Address Validation extension enables automatic verification of customer shipping addresses during checkout. It uses the UPS Address Validation API in real time to ensure accuracy. If the UPS API does not return a result, the system defaults to the customer’s originally entered address for review and selection. Please refer to the screenshots provided to understand the extension’s workflow and functionality.

This UPS module sends the complete customer address — including street, city, ZIP/postal code, state, and country — to the UPS API. Based on this data, UPS checks the address in its database and returns validated or suggested addresses. Administrators can easily enable or disable the module. When enabled, the UPS Address Validation API runs automatically during checkout.

Important: The Address Validation API must be enabled for your live UPS account to use this plugin. By default, it is disabled for all accounts. Please contact UPS Support to enable this feature on your account.

To use this module, you must sign up for a free UPS account. You’ll need to enter your UPS Username and Password in the configuration settings. These credentials can be obtained directly from your UPS account dashboard. No additional fees are required to use this extension beyond standard UPS shipping costs.
