Please Note: This Magento 2 UPS Freight Shipping Carrier extension was not created by the UPS Freight Carriers company. Ecomplugins built this extension to facilitate a quick Freight API integration with UPS Freight. This is a downloadable Magento 2 extension that requires a one-time purchase.
This Magento 2 UPS Freight Shipping Carrier module will calculate shipping via UPS Freight Carriers. Shipping rates will be displayed on the checkout and shopping cart pages. Rates are based on the seller warehouse address, customer destination address, and shopping cart product weights. You should check all screenshots to understand the module's workflow.
This extension uses the UPS Freight API to fetch shipping rates based on customer addresses.
The admin can enable or disable liftgate API, residential delivery options, and other UPS Freight features. Admins can also quote based on address type (Residential or Commercial), add markup prices to shipping quotes, and set product-level extra weights that apply to shipping calculations.
You need to manually sign up for a free UPS Freight API account to use this extension. It will not create your account automatically. After signing up, you will receive API keys from UPS Freight, which need to be configured in the Magento extension admin settings. Calling the UPS Freight API is free; you only pay for shipments you create for customers.

In regards to their solution FedEx REST API for Magento 2 it has been an excellent replacement to the old SOAP based FedEx module packaged with M2. Many more features such as LxWxH attributes and packaging settings. We had some small issues initially and they were quick to resolve and assist. Highly recommended!!!
