The UPS Auto Address Checker for Magento 2 automatically determines whether a customer’s address is residential or commercial, ensuring accurate shipping rates. The verification occurs in real time through the UPS Address Validation API.

If the UPS API does not return a result, the system automatically falls back to the default UPS module settings. Please review all screenshots provided to understand the full workflow of the extension.

This UPS module sends the complete customer address—including street, city, ZIP code, state, and country—to the UPS API. The API validates the address in its database and returns whether it is residential or commercial.

Administrators can easily enable or disable the module:
- When disabled, Magento uses the default UPS settings.
- When enabled, the UPS Address Check API runs automatically during rate calculation.

For enhanced automation, the Magento 2 UPS Auto Address Checker uses the latest UPS Address APIs to save time and prevent shipping errors.

UPS REST API support has been added for Magento 2.4.7. You will need to generate a Client ID and Secret Key.

You need to sign up for a free UPS account to use this extension. Enter your UPS Username, Password, and Access License Number under the UPS XML configuration type. You can obtain these credentials directly from your UPS account dashboard.
